Arvind Srinivas Subramanian is an experienced Software/Systems Engineer with over 3 years of experience in building Restful Web services, end-to-end pipelines, custom monitoring features, and scalable map service prototypes. He also modularized booking form API end points with time slot management functionality for hospital appointment bookings and implemented state machines for objects to track the complete life-cycle of an appointment completely from an EMR system till patient check-in. Moreover, Arvind has worked as an Associate Software Engineer at The Advisory Board Company, where he developed a retrospective tool that calculates sentence similarity and identifies emotions using the Stanford-core-nlp ROR gem and Monkey Learn API. He also optimized Rspec suite's performance by building mocks for API calls and stubs to avoid unnecessary database calls and optimized Passenger application server's performance by configuring optimal pool-sizes and thread count for the application (micro-service architecture).
